Privacy Policy

Who this covers

ASOHawk ("we", "us") operates asohawk.cc, a tool for iOS developers to track App Store search ranking, review data, and connected store analytics. This policy covers the personal data of people who sign up for an account, use the product, or contact us for support.

What we collect

Account data: email address, name, and password hash (never the password itself).

Workspace data you add: app identifiers you choose to track, keyword lists, and any competitor apps you point us at. This data is public App Store information the moment you add it (rankings, metadata, reviews).

Integration credentials: if you connect App Store Connect, Google Analytics 4, Apify, or your own outbound email provider, we store the credential you give us so a background worker can call that provider on your behalf. See the "How we handle your data" page for exactly how these are protected.

Usage data: sign-in timestamps, session metadata, and which features you use, so we can keep the product reliable and prioritize what to build next.

Aggregated benchmarking and algorithm improvement

When you connect App Store Connect or another analytics source, we access your app performance data, including downloads, sales, and revenue, to provide ASOHawk features to you. We also use this data, in de-identified and aggregated form, to calibrate and improve our estimation and ranking algorithms, for example the download and revenue estimates shown across the product.

Aggregation is performed so that no individual app, workspace, or customer can be identified: an aggregate value is only produced once data from several independent workspaces is combined, and we never expose your individual downloads, sales, or revenue figures to other customers. Only aggregate model parameters, computed from many customers, are used in the product.

You can disconnect App Store Connect at any time, which stops any further use of your data for this purpose.

What we never do

We do not sell personal data. We never disclose your individual App Store Connect revenue, downloads, or analytics to other customers. Beyond showing your data back to you in your own workspace, the only other use is the de-identified, pooled aggregation described in "Aggregated benchmarking" above, from which no individual app or customer can be identified. We do not train models on your identifiable workspace data.

Retention

Public App Store data (rankings, metadata history, reviews) is kept on a schedule tied to how expensive it is to re-collect: recent raw snapshots for a limited window, compact aggregates for longer. Your private integration data (App Store Connect, GA4, sales figures) is kept for as long as your account is active, plus a minimum retention period tied to your plan.

Your rights

From Settings, you can export your workspace data as JSON or CSV, or delete your workspace or account outright. Deleting a workspace moves it to a 7-day trash (in case of a mistake), after which it and every credential in it are permanently and irreversibly removed. You can also email [email protected] for a manual export or deletion request under GDPR.

Who else sees data

Transactional email (verification, password reset, alerts) is sent through Resend. Outbound email you send to app reviewers or influencers goes through your own connected SMTP account, never ours. Error monitoring may send crash reports to Sentry with credentials and tokens stripped before they leave our servers.
